      Ectopic overexpression of cadHT.hs can be seen at the syncytial blastoderm stage: partial failure of head involution and disruption of segmentation. ftz protein distribution is altered: stripes 2, 3 and 4 are abnormally spaced and reduced, posterior stripes stain stronger than anterior stripes. A modification and reduction in en and Dfd protein distribution is also seen.
