Flies fail to perform the normal movements of the wings during leg sweeps directed at the wings. Leg rubbing movements are defective. Flies often fall over during grooming, walk only slowly on a flat surface and cannot fly. Clear reduction in the probability of scratch reflex responses to single bristle stimulation.
