      Partial suppression of sc1 phenotype in the scutellum, mild "Hw" phenotype, rough eyes and reduced viability of homozygous females. sc mutations induced by transposable elements or chromosome rearrangements are suppressed to some extent by su(sc)u1. The su(sc)u1 interaction with acHw-49c is notable. Males are sterile and have crumpled wings. su(sc)u1 also has a suppressive interaction with ac3.
