        Lethal in combination with Df(2L)H20 and Mhc1. Striated myofibrils are much shorter and have less regular striations than wild type. Myofibrils have 'frayed' ends and splits within the myofibrils. Heterozygotes with other Mhc alleles have a 'raised wing' phenotype. 22-27% of fertilised eggs from Mhc1/+ females and hemizygous males cease development during the embryonic period, development is completed but the embryos did not show the movements that are usual in embryos shortly before hatching.
