Expression of ScrScer\UAS.cAa under the control of Scer\GAL4tub.PU results in ectopic salivary glands developing and invaginating in parasegments 0 and 1 (as well as the normal glands that develop in parasegment 2).

Expression of ScrScer\UAS.cAa, under the control of Scer\GAL4rn-GAL4-5, results in formation of ectopic transverse bristle rows and sex combs on the distal basitarsus of T3 legs, and a reduction and fusion of the more distal tarsal segments in all three legs.

Co-expression of hthScer\UAS.cPa partially suppresses the antenna to leg transformation phenotypes produced by ectopic expression of ScrScer\UAS.cAa driven by Scer\GAL4dpp.blk1. The antennae produced are aristaless and occasionally duplicated, similar to the hthScer\UAS.cPa phenotype.
