Reduction of coxa, femur, tibia and tarsal segments. Posterior scutellars are erect. Body size is smaller than wild type. Wings are reduced in size with alteration in wing vein pattern at the crossveins, flight is impaired. Apoptosis in wing-thorax and leg imaginal discs is associated with the adult phenotype.
