      Scer\FLP1 induced clones containing one copy of Ubx cause small wing trichomes. Ectopic expression of two copies of Ubx causes a reduction in size of the wing, lack of wing veins and the wing blades also do not appear to appose properly to one another. The small wings have a high density of trichomes that are smaller than wild type.
