      phl11 or phl400B8 mutants are lethal in larvae, but such flies carrying phlhs.PD can survive to fertile adults by using daily heatshocks.

      Daily heat shocks of P{hs-Drafwt} can rescue phl1 inviability. Discontinuation of heat shocks reveals no change in initiation or completion of border cell migration.
