Construct: 1.5kb XbaI-PstI fragment containing the 1.4kb Ubx VM ps7 enhancer and Hsp70 TATA box and mRNA leader sequence is fused to a 9.5kb genomic PvuI-PstI fragment spanning the complete wgl-12 sequence.

      Larvae kept at 25oC show normal copper cell domains. Larvae kept at 17.5oC show the 'topping-up' phenotype with large anterior copper cells. Larvae kept at 15oC have no copper cells or compressed copper cell domains in an abnormally anterior position.
