      No commissures form in homozygous embryos. The longitudinal connectives separate further than normal but remain reasonably well organised.

      Strong allele. Commissures are not completely absent but partial and highly abnormal commissures form. Rare adult escapers of hypomorphic allelic combinations show a range of uncoordinated behaviors.

      Homozygous comm8 embryos that also carry four copies of Khc::Ggal\MLCKKA.ftz show several Fas2-positive axons abnormally crossing the midline, but commissures do not form and the connectives become slightly disorganised.
