EcoRI-NaeI fragment (-939 to +560, coordinates from FBrf0047664) of a ro genomic clone is ligated to a fragment containing the lacZ coding region and the SV40 polyadenylation site creating an in-frame fusion after amino acid 125 between ro and lacZ.
