      The RP2 neurons are duplicated in 1 to 12 hemisegments in approximately 72% of embryos heat shocked at 7 hours of development at 22oC. Some hemisegments lack RP1, RP3 or RP4, these hemisegments generally contain only a single RP2 neuron, while segments with duplicated RP2 neurons normally contain RP1, RP3 and RP4.
