      Scer\GAL4rho.PL mediated expression allows rescue of the MP2 precursor in In(1)y3PLsc8R embryos but the dMP2 is transformed toward a vMP2 fate. Simultaneous targetted expression of l(1)scScer\UAS.cPa and atoScer\UAS.cPa completely rescues the MP2 neuroblast.
