No neuroanatomical aberrations are evident during development of the brain. Flies show reduced performance in a modified olfactory trap assay, using geraniol as the attractive odor, both immediately after training and 90 mins after training.
Exhibits a decrement in the 3 minute memory performance. Transheterozygotes with 14-3-3ζP1375 show a highly significant reduction in 3 minute memory. Odour avoidance (octanol and benzaldehyde) is normal.
