macrochaeta & scutum, with Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096
macrochaeta & wing, with Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096
Dorsal clones in the tarsus expressing Scer\GAL4Act5C.PI-driven Mmus\Lef1Scer\UAS.cRa are normal. Clones in the ventral-most rows often show transformation towards more dorsal fates.
Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096-mediated expression causes ectopic bristles on the notum near the dorsocentral and postalar bristles. Bristle tufts and individual ectopic bristles appear at the wing tip and near the anterior wing margin or hinge. Stretches of the wing margin are also missing.
Mmus\Lef1UAS.Tag:T7, Scer\GAL4Act5C.PI, midUAS.cBa has metathoracic tarsal bristle phenotype
Mmus\Lef1UAS.Tag:T7, Scer\GAL4Act5C.PI, midUAS.cBa has prothoracic tarsal bristle phenotype
Clones expressing both midScer\UAS.cBa and Mmus\Lef1Scer\UAS.cRa in the tarsus driven by Scer\GAL4bi-omb-Gal4 are recovered more often in lateral and dorsal cells, indicating altered sorting behaviour. Dorsolateral clones expressing both midScer\UAS.cBa and Mmus\Lef1Scer\UAS.cRa do not transform towards ventral fate, whereas ventrolateral clones do so sometimes.
Expressed in embryos to study stimulation of Ecol\lacZ expression from Ubx promoter fragments containing the Mmus\Lef1 binding site.
