      mysolfC-x17 e(olfC)1a double homozygotes (referred to as strain mysolfC-x17-1a) have a stronger phenotype than mysolfC-x17 single homozygotes; the defect in response to iso-amyl acetate is stronger, and there is a reduction in response to benzaldehyde and ethyl acetate in an olfactory jump assay.
