        Ovarian follicles frequently have an aberrant number of germ cells and the oocyte can be mislocated which in turn alters the cell fate of the posterior follicle cells by disturbing the anterior posterior axis. A supernumerary oocyte can develop. Females also exhibit a held-egg phenotype. Adults exhibit rough eyes and variable alteration in the wing venation.
