FlyBase curator comment: this entry is used to capture phenotypic information when the particular allele (or allele combination) used by the author could not be determined but the context of the experiment suggests that the phenotype being described is some kind of loss of function.
Homozygous clones in the wing produce wing blisters. Blisters are associated with both dorsal and ventral clones. The pattern of veins and trichome polarity is normal, and there is no overgrowth or disruption to the overall wing shape and pattern.
Homozygous clones in the wing produce large blisters that lack sharp boundaries. Wings are sometimes rumpled. Wing venation is normal.
aukunspecified/auk[+] is an enhancer of visible | recessive phenotype of mys8
aukunspecified/auk[+] is an enhancer of wing phenotype of mys8
Shows a weak genetic interaction with mys8; the frequency of wing blisters is increased from approximately 10% in mys8 single hemizygotes to approximately 20% in mys8 hemizygotes that are also heterozygous for aukunspecified. Shows no interaction with mysb9.
