Embryonic lethality is rescued but flies die as larvae. daIIP106/daKE383 transheterozygotes carrying da::Brer\E12HLH survive to adulthood. Flies exhibit defects in wings and sensory organs. da::Brer\E12bHLH does not allow rescue to adulthood.
