      Expression of snaScer\UAS.cFa under the control of Scer\GAL4elav-C155 results in a roughening of the eye and a reduction in the number of interommatidial bristles. Expression of snaScer\UAS.cFa under the control of Scer\GAL4455.2 results in a complete loss of shaft and socket of the macrochaetae of the scutellum.
