      Expression of Cf2Scer\UAS.cMa under the control of Scer\GAL4Act88F.1.3 results in a severe disruption of the indirect flight muscles; only a few shreds of muscle tissue are found in the dorsal part of the thorax.

      Expression of Cf2Scer\UAS.cMa under the control of Scer\GAL4Mhc.F3-580 results in indirect flight muscles which are thinner than normal, but are intact from anterior to posterior.
