'fas[PR95]' was originally created as an imprecise excision of P{PZ}05488, which was originally associated with the gene 'fas/CG17716' (Lekven et al, 1998; FBrf0103312). However, this insertion has since been shown to affect a different gene 'CG6197/fand' (Sauerwald et al, 2017; FBrf0234822). Therefore, the fas[PR95] allele has now been made an allele of CG6197/fand, though as it was described as a deletion removing approximately 12 kb downstream from the P1411 insertion and at least 8 kb upstream, the excision likely affects other genes in addition to 'fand'.
