Expression of putDeltaI.Scer\UAS in the posterior part of the wing, under the control of Scer\GAL4e22c, causes the loss of vein tissues.

Expression of putΔI.Scer\UAS in embryos, under the control of Scer\GAL4OK6, results in ISNb pathfinding defects in 33% of hemisegments.

Flies expressing putΔI.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4A9 have small wings with fusion of veins L2 with L3 and L4 with L5. Flies expressing putΔI.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4ptc-559.1 lack the anterior crossvein.
