When DfdScer\UAS.T:Hsim\VP16 is driven by Scer\GAL4GMR.PF, a dramatically rough appearance and a severe reduction in the eye size is seen.
Embryos expressing DfdScer\UAS.T:Hsim\VP16 under the control of Scer\GAL4arm.PS have extreme cuticle defects along the entire anterior/posterior axis, whether the Scer\GAL4arm.PS driver is provided maternally or paternally. These embryos are less than half the normal length, due to a dramatic narrowing and partial fusion of many body segments. Each of the rudimentary segments develops maxillary cirri and mouth hook fragments.
DfdVP16.UAS, Scer\GAL4GMR.PF has eye phenotype, suppressible by Diap1GMR.PH
When thGMR.PH is added to DfdScer\UAS.T:Hsim\VP16, Scer\GAL4GMR.PF animals the eye phenotype is suppressed.
