      Reporter gene expression is observed in the testis, only at the very tip in the spermatogonia and the early spermatocytes. It is also detected in larval testis. In females, expression is restricted to the ovary. Transient expression is observed in the oocyte at around stage 6. From stage 9, expression is observed in the nurse cells and later in the oocyte.
