      Flies expressing ci::panDΔ.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096 completely lack the fourth wing vein, have extreme deformities of the second and third wing veins and show overgrowth of the anterior wing.

      The phenotype caused by expression of ci::panDΔ.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096 is enhanced by coexpression of armS10.Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC; the resulting pupae fail to eclose and the wing discs are overgrown and distorted.
