Gives a recessive polarity phenotype in notum and tarsus, even when no Scer\GAL4 driver is present. pk^EP2557 when driven by Scer\GAL4^da.G32, gives a wing phenotype in the triple row. Wing hair polarity defects are seen in the wing. Whorls, cruciform, and radial stacking flaws are seen at variable positions within the wing blade. Legs and tarsi are wild-type.
