Imprecise excision of the P{PZ} element. Part of the P-element is still present (the part that remains is the part of the element most distal to the Hr38 transcription unit). Genomic sequences adjacent to the site of P{PZ} insertion (on the side proximal to the Hr38 transcription unit) may or may not be affected.
