      Misexpression of hthΔHD.Scer\UAS in the developing eye, under the control of Scer\GAL4ey.PH suppresses eye development.

      Expression of hthScer\UAS.ΔHD driven by Scer\GAL4dpp.blk1 has no effect on the antenna or eye development. However leg defects are seen: an absence of distal leg segments and a short bifurcation of the tibia.
