Description

The deficiency Df(2L)PJ17 breaks at the 4th amino acid of the La coding region and in the first exon of spir (just after the insertion P{PZ}PJ17) removing almost the entire coding regions for both genes. A P{PZ} insertion is within the first exon of spir.
