crol1ex15 is semilethal in combination with Df(2L)esc10. Only 44% of these animals survive to adulthood, leaving many dead pupae with misshapen legs. In addition half of the survivors have venation defects and 8% have malformed wings. The most common venation defects are ectopic vein material originating from the posterior crossvein and the second longitudinal vein.
