      Comments

      When Lahs.PB is added to homozygous Df(2L)PJ17 flies, and exposed to heatshock, a few adult survivors are seen, compared to none in homozygous Df(2L)PJ17 flies alone. Female survivors are sterile. A small number (3/881) of Df(2L)PJ17 flies carrying Lahs.PB induced by heat shock survive to adulthood.
