eyaE11.UAS/Scer\GAL4dpp.blk1 is an enhancer of visible phenotype of Scer\GAL4dpp.blk1, dacUAS.cSa
Scer\GAL4dpp.blk1, eyaE11.UAS, soUAS.cPa has visible phenotype
Scer\GAL4dpp.blk1, dacUAS.cSa, eyaE11.UAS has eye | ectopic phenotype
Scer\GAL4dpp.blk1, eyaE11.UAS, soUAS.cPa has leg phenotype
Scer\GAL4dpp.blk1, eyaE11.UAS, soUAS.cPa has antenna phenotype
Scer\GAL4dpp.blk1, eyaE11.UAS, soUAS.cPa has pigment cell | ectopic phenotype
Co-expression of eyaE11.Scer\UAS and soScer\UAS.cPa under the control of Scer\GAL4dpp.blk1 results in ectopic retinal tissue in 51% of cases. The ectopic retinal tissue is limited to specks of pigment on the tips of the antenna. Abnormal leg development is seen in 100% of cases.
Scer\GAL4ey.PB/eyaE11.UAS partially rescues eya2
The ability of eyaE11.Scer\UAS to rescue the eya2 mutant phenotype when expressed under the control of Scer\GAL4ey.PB is approximately one-fourth as strong as that of eyaScer\UAS.cBa (a wild-type transgene).
