      Expression of EP3015aEP3015a under the control of Scer\GAL4sca-537.4 results in additional scutellar macrochaetae. Sensory organs with no socket, one shaft and one sheath cell, no socket, no shaft and one sheath cell and one socket and no shaft are seen. Short and thickened shaft morphology is seen.

      Expression from the P{EP} elements in the "EP(3)3015" line (which contains P{EP}EP3015aEP3015a and P{EP}SNF4AγEP3015b) under the control of Scer\GAL4ptc-559.1 (the animals are initially raised at 18oC and then shifted to 29oC after 10 days) results in a reduced number of early germ cells (stem cells, gonialblasts and spermatogonia) in the testis.
