      ash1PdL11A3 homozygosity, or expression during development under the combined control of Tn10\tetRAct5C.T:Hsim\VP16 and doxycycline treatment, results in 100% lethality. Expression only during adulthood under the combined control of Tn10\tetRAct5C.T:Hsim\VP16 and doxycycline leads to a 11 to 14% decrease in adult life span compared to controls (without doxycycline).
