      Flies carrying tkoQ116K.tTa in a wild-type background have no developmental delay or other obvious phenotype. The flies show no sensitivity to streptomycin. Females carrying tkoQ116K.tTa crossed to wild-type males are sterile (due to a failure to lay eggs), although courtship appears normal.
