RafS743A.hs partially rescues Raf11
Expression of phlS743A.hs in phl11/Y embryos which lack both maternal and zygotic phl function results in an "imperfect torso phenotype" in 99% of the embryos; they have denticle belts of reduced width and are twisted, in addition to having the head and tail defects associated with the "torso" phenotype. The distance between Keilin's organs is reduced compared to wild type. The distance between the ventral black dots is reduced compared to wild type. The distance between the ventral and dorsal black dots is also decreased.
