    Reported amino acid change:

    W625term

    Comment:

G to A nucleotide change at the second or third position of the wild type Trp codon leads to a nonsense mutation (exact site of mutation unspecified). The mutation was annotated at the second base of the codon.

    Detailed Description
    Statement
    Reference

Follicle stem cell clones homozygous for nctR46 persist in the ovariole approximately as well as control clones over a 14 day period.

Wing notching and wing vein thickening in somatic clones indicate a loss of N signalling. Excess neuroblast segregation in embryos derived from germ-line clones also indicates a loss of N signalling and Psn function.
