      ovostop2b partially rescues ovoD1rv37

      Comments

      One copy of ovostop2b has no rescuing effect in about half of ovoD1rv37 ovaries examined. In the remaining ovaries, the egg chambers develop up to stage 4. Two copies of ovostop2b can rescue ovarian development up to stage 10 in ovoD1rv37 ovaries. After stage 10 apoptosis of nurse cells is seen and no eggs are laid.
