UAS regulatory sequences drive expression of 601bp antisense and sense f fragments (the f fragment spans exons 3 and 4 of the 2.5kb pupal transcript and contains a 107bp intron sequence) which are separated by mub816.i, an 816bp spacer fragment derived from an intron of mub.
