      The alteration in Cyp6g1 expression in Cyp6g1PSU-R is sufficient to confer a low to moderate level of DDT resistance, but is not sufficient to confer the high-level of DDT resistance seen in the PSU-R strain suggesting that the complete resistance to DDT seen in the PSU-R strain requires mutation of another gene.
