FlyBase curator comment: this entry is used to capture phenotypic information when the particular allele (or allele combination) used by the author could not be determined but the context of the experiment suggests that the phenotype being described is some kind of loss of function.
The lengths of chromosomes in the first meiotic division of oocytes is at a ratio of 1. 0:1.6:2.2 in +/+, +/c(3)Gunspecified and c(3)Gunspecified/c(3)Gunspecified cells. The chromocenters of homozygous oocytes have an abnormal structure. There is no meiotic block in metaphase 1 and chromosomes only segregate equally in about 80% of the first meiotic division anaphases.
c(3)Gunspecified is a suppressor of phenotype of okrunspecified
c(3)Gunspecified is a non-suppressor of egg chorion phenotype of cuffunspecified
