Comments

Expression of PoxnSuperA fully restores the aversion to oviposit on polyamine-rich substrate that is lost in PoxnΔM22-B5/PoxnΔM22-B5 mutants.

The defects in taste bristles on the leg, labellum and anterior wing margin seen in PoxnΔM22-B5 flies are rescued by PoxnSuperA. The leg and antenna segmentation defects seen in PoxnΔM22-B5 flies are rescued by PoxnSuperA. The defects in the posterior lobe and penis seen in PoxnΔM22-B5 males are rescued by PoxnSuperA and male fertility is rescued. PoxnSuperA rescues the flying capability of PoxnΔM22-B5 flies. PoxnSuperA rescues the courting defects (in both daylight and red light conditions) of PoxnΔM22-B5 males.
