Comments

The defects in taste bristles on the leg, labellum and anterior wing margin seen in PoxnΔM22-B5 flies are not rescued by PoxnPK. The leg and antenna segmentation defects seen in PoxnΔM22-B5 flies are rescued by PoxnPK. The defects in the posterior lobe and penis seen in PoxnΔM22-B5 males are not rescued by PoxnPK and male fertility is not rescued. PoxnPK does not rescue the flying capability of PoxnΔM22-B5 flies. PoxnPK partially rescues the courting defects of PoxnΔM22-B5 males; the fraction of males which court under daylight conditions is increased and males show some courtship under red light conditions.
