      PoxnBaK partially rescues PoxnΔM22-B5

      Comments

      The defects in taste bristles on the labellum seen in PoxnΔM22-B5 flies are not rescued by PoxnBaK, but the defects in taste bristles on the leg and anterior wing margin are partially rescued. The leg and antenna segmentation defects seen in PoxnΔM22-B5 flies are rescued by PoxnBaK. The defects in the posterior lobe seen in PoxnΔM22-B5 males are not rescued by PoxnBaK and male fertility is not rescued. The defects in penis structure are rescued. PoxnBaK does not rescue the flying capability of PoxnΔM22-B5 flies. PoxnBaK rescues the courting defects (in both daylight and red light conditions) of PoxnΔM22-B5 males.
