      Comments

      The defects in taste bristles on the labellum seen in PoxnΔM22-B5 flies are not rescued by PoxnΔBH, but the defects in taste bristles on the leg and anterior wing margin are partially rescued. The leg and antenna segmentation defects seen in PoxnΔM22-B5 flies are rescued by PoxnΔBH. The defects in the posterior lobe and penis seen in PoxnΔM22-B5 males are rescued by PoxnΔBH and male fertility is partially rescued. PoxnΔBH does not rescue the flying capability of PoxnΔM22-B5 flies. PoxnΔBH rescues the courting defects (in both daylight and red light conditions) of PoxnΔM22-B5 males.
