      Expression of PGRP-LEGS1068 under the control of Scer\GAL4hs.PB results in localised melanisation in the cuticle of larvae, followed by melanisation in the whole body, resulting in the death of the larvae. Expression of PGRP-LEGS1068 under the control of Scer\GAL4c564 results in induction of pigmented particles in the hemolymph.
