Co-expression of lokD303A.Scer\UAS almost completely rescues the eye phenotype caused by expression of p53Scer\UAS.cPa under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF. No apoptosis is found in the eye discs of third instar larvae. The small eye phenotype caused by expression of p53S4A.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF is not altered by coexpression of lokD303A.Scer\UAS.
