Has two small internal deletions: a frameshifting 13-bp deletion in exon 11 (nucleotides 9949 to 9961), and a 5-bp deletion of the first four nucleotides (9987 to 9991) of intron 11 that potentially removes a splice junction motif. FlyBase Curator comment: Correspondence with author Coulthard established that the description of the second deletion in the uex^NC1 chromosome (Table 3) was in error. The data given in FlyBase is correct.
