      gigT437A.T1054A.Scer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG/Scer\GAL4ey.PH; Tsc1Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC/+ flies have small eyes with a 31% decrease in ommatidia numbers compared to wild-type (i.e.- results with this mutated gig are no different to those with wild-type gig.) The increase in ommatidial size seen in Akt1Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1; Scer\GAL4GMR.PF flies is: unaffected by gigT437A.T1054A.Scer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG.
